Two Charcoal Portraits
Create two (2) different portraits in charcoal, one using the subtractive/reductive method, the other usual the additive process.
The subtractive/reductive method involves creating a medium grey blended background and creating highlights using erasers and blending stumps.
The additive method is created using the usual method of building up shadow areas by adding layers of charcoal lines.
